Teri is a native of West Texas, and currently based in Austin, Texas. During college, Teri joined a band out of Midland, TX and played the Texas club scene. In the 90’s she began recording her own songs in various studios. One of the very first songs written by Teri was a waltz entitled “The Perfect Pair”, which she recorded at the famous Norman Petty recording studio in Clovis, NM, where Buddy Holly recorded so many of his hits. Teri’s waltz took first place out of 86 songs in the Making Texas Music Songwriting Competition, and earned her the title “Most Promising Songwriter” over 43 other writers from a 12 state region. Judges on the panel included former drummer of Elvis Presley, DJ Fontana, radio personality and business partner of Jim Reeves, Tom Perryman, Dennis (Weemus) Grubb who traveled with Dick Clark’s caravan of stars, and Texas Tech University Professor of music, Don Turner.

Today, Teri has an extensive background as a professional entertainer, having played throughout the U.S. at a variety of venues including five star resorts, clubs, travel centers, casinos, military bases, and corporate events.

Another point of interest is Teri’s special rapport with professional truck drivers, and executives within the transportation industry. She has been the featured entertainer for many driver related promotions throughout the country including Driver Appreciation Days for Flying J, and Grand Openings for Travel Centers of America. In the 90’s Teri flew to Nashville, TN on behalf of Comdata, to entertain the crowd at the “18 Wheels of Hope” Feed the Children event. Thousands of drivers have spent many hours listening to Teri sing, and shared their stories at the travel centers. Legendary DJ & songwriter Bill Mack has featured Teri on his radio show at WBAP as well as XM Satellite radio.

Teri wow’s the crowd with her unique style which combines a sultry blues sound with rock and country. The shows are a great mix of genres including old and new country, blues, rock, motown, and Teri Hart originals. This versatility offers something for everyone and appeals to all ages!

On several occasions, Teri has teamed up with corporate sponsors across the U.S., promoting their products and services via stage banners, PA announcements, and personal endorsements.

Teri is currently taking the show “Nothin Yellow but the Ribbon” ™ to military bases and other venues, promoting her latest single “Until They All Come Home”. The show’s main objective is to pay tribute to the troops and inspire patriotism across the land.
